On March 23, 2017, my article was published in CNews — the largest high-tech media outlet in Russia and the CIS. I contributed as a KYOCERA expert. And for me, that was an important step.
Why CNews?
This publication has history. It grew out of the “Hi-Tech News” feed from RBC and has remained one of the most authoritative voices in the world of technology since 2000. Its daily audience exceeds 100,000 professionals. And monthly — over 7 million readers worldwide. Top managers, IT directors, entrepreneurs, investors. Those who make purchasing decisions worth millions.
And they invited me. Not as a brand representative, but as someone who deeply understands the product and can talk about it clearly, without oversimplification.
What was the article about?
About the ECOSYS concept, which was 25 years old at the time. It was created by KYOCERA’s founder, Kazuo Inamori — a man who, back in the last century, thought about how to combine economy, ecology, and systemness in office equipment.
We examined the new line of printers and MFPs, where:
-
The photodrum lifespan is 100,000 pages.
-
The toner melts at a lower temperature, reducing energy consumption and noise.
-
Cartridges are separate: only the toner is replaced, not the entire printing unit.
-
Printing costs become affordable even for a small office or home user.
What did this publication give me?
The realization that my voice carries weight. That I can talk about complex things, and people listen. And that my texts can live on in the professional community longer than a single marketing campaign.
The article is still in the CNews archives.
I remain grateful to the editorial team for giving me the opportunity to create a professionally complex technical text and for publishing it on their pages. It gave me confidence that I can continue to write readable texts.
